- Lets make comparison to WWI:
Causes of Second World War: (MUFI) - Rising militarism in Japan:
- Japan was increasing its number of armies
- The unjust (अन्यायपूर्ण) treaty of Versailles of 1919:
- Germany was badly suffered by this treaty.
- Germany was not happy as it had to compensate physically and economically.
- Germany was not permitted to increase its armies.
- France's behaviour with Germany:
- Germany had lost its prestige in front of France.
- France used to show vengeful (बदला लिए जस्तो) behaviour to Germany.
- Hitler came to power in 1933 to take revenge of this.
- Demands of imperialism:
- New imperialists (Japan and Germany) were growing up.
- Old imperialists (UK and France) were not ready to leave their colonies.
- Rise of dictatorship in Germany, Japan and Italy:
- Germany - Hitlar
- Italy - Musolini
- Japan - Armies
- Failure of League of Nations:
- Manchuria - Initially was land of China, But Japan annexed it in 1931 and League of Nations could not do anything.
- Ethiopia - Italy annexed Ethiopia, But League of Nations just acted like audience and did not take any action.
- Rhineland - Germany annexed this land and League of Nations was not able to show its power against this activity.
- Irrational boundaries drawn after WWI:
- People belonging to same culture, ethnic groups and society were divided into two parts by new boundary.
- Germans were divided into Poland and Czechoslovakia.
