World War I - Episode III ( AGO vs RuFraBriUJa)
- America sent armies to the border of Germany and France where the British were helping France.
- Woodrow Wilson made 14 points letter in 1918 which is called Wilson's 14 points.
- The purpose of this letter was to explain why America was involved in the war.
- The letter had included the following topics:
- World peace
- Freedom of navigation
- End to imperialism
- Establishment of League of Nations
- A revolution began in Russia.
- February Revolution overthrew Tsar Nicholas II.
- October Revolution brought the Bolsheviks party into power. Lenin came into power from this party.
- Lenin announced that Russia does not want any war. Thus, he signed a peace agreement with Germany in March 1918.
- This treaty was named as "Treaty of Brest-Litovsk".
- The war on the eastern side of Germany ended with this treaty.
- German troops were excited because of this end of the war on the western side. Thus they made strong plans and strategies to win on the eastern side.
- Allied power fought very strongly against central power and pushed armies of central power back to their country from various regions like Balkans, Italy and Middle-East.
- Germany continued various wars on France but USA kept sending armies to France to step-back Germany.
- Finaly Germany declared to stop the war after loosing many wars and agreed to sign on ceasefire agreement on 11th November, 1918.
