World War I - Episode IV ( AGO vs RuFraBriUJa)

• After six months of negotiation after the end of first world war, a peace agreement is known as the "Treaty of Versailles" was signed on 28 June 1919.

• This treaty made the following decisions:
• The "guilt of war" was placed upon central powers, especially Germany.
• Borders of Central and Eastern Europe, African Colonies, and the Middle East were redrawn.
• Heavy war reparation was levied on Germany. (भारी युद्ध क्षतिपूर्ति जर्मनीमा लगाइएको थियो।) Final war reparation was paid by Germany in 2010.
• The colonies of Germany were divided by Britain and France.

• Consequences of WWI:
• Fall of following empires:
• German Empire - Hohenzollern dynasty falled down.
• Austro-Hungarian Empire - Fall of Habsburg dynasty.
• Russian Empire - Fall of Romanov dynasty.
• Ottoman Empire - Caliphate (Caliphate were Head of Muslims and were ruling on this empire) abolished
• Austro-Hungarian empire broke into several countries: Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia
• Some areas of Russia and Germany broke to become new countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Finland
• Middle-East: Palestine was made
• Ottoman-empire which was distributed among France, Britain, and Russia was shrunk into a small area of Turkey.

• New technologies which were firstly used in WWI:
• Radio
• Armored cars
• Tanks
• Submarine boats
• Machine guns
• Mustard gas 
• Aeroplane for bombings

• Political changes after WWI:
• Britain and France got many colonies and they consolidated power.
• The USA came as a new international power.
• National Socialism Party of Hitler came into power in Germany.
• Turkey had to face political movement for power after the abolishment of the Ottoman Empire.
• League of Nations was established as first international group.
